On a scale of 1-10 (ten being optimal) I rate myself in the following three categories.

Physical well being 3 (eat better-at least 1 vegetable per meal and more exercise- at least 3 times per weak to reach 10)

Spiritual well being 3 (go to church every Sunday and meditate more at least once a day to reach 10)

Psychological well being 4 (spend less time worrying- try to not worry about the things I can't control to reach 10)

My plan is simple. I will place post it notes on my mirror to remind me of exercise and send my husband grocery shopping (he only buys what's on the list). I will do my best to attend church, I haven't found a home church since I moved to Missouri. Hopefully, I can accomplish the goal of setting aside at least 15 minutes every day to meditate. Last but not least, control the worry wart within me. That will prove to be the most difficult of all. But if I can accept I can't control anyone but myself, I might be on a path.

  3. Ginger,

Hey there darling! How are you doing tonight? I am pretty good myself.
Anyway, I just wanted to mention a few things about your goals. You seem to really have everything planned out right, so as long as you are strong enough to stick to the goals, then I am sure you will be well on your way to moving up those scores! Posting a sticky note on your mirror is great reminder!

WONDERFUL BLOG- I hope you have a lovely night!

  4. I like your solutions to get better in all the categories. They are simple and they are not such major changes that it will be hard to keep up with in the long term, good luck.

  5. Thanks for the comments, no offense to anyone who lives in Missouri but I hate it! I have since the day I drove into the state. I am a southern girl at heart from the deep south, this is difficult for me and has led to a lot of my stress. I try to make the best of it...but sometimes I just need to go HOME.

  6. Hello Ginger, You have my blessing in reaching your goals. I understand what you mean by living somewhere that just doesn't fit. I am in va. and I moved from north. There is a positive side-we are all in this together striving for balance and learning to flourish :)!!!!
    Love Peace & happiness,
